Walkers Tyres Darlington was established in 1983 by Alex Walker selling part worn tyres. Over the last 22 years Walkers have gone from strength to strength and are now the longest remaining business on Darlingtons Borough Road Industrial Estate.

Alex and his team offer a good honest service at extremely competitive prices, “the working mans answer to economical motoring!” with satisfied customers returning over the years time and again.

Although the business was started primarily selling part worn tyres, over the years the demand has grown such that, although they still stock and sell hundreds of quality part worns, which all carry a guarantee, today the majority of sales come from new tyres, this is why they carry a large and extensive range of all new and remoulds, anything they might not stock can usually be obtained the same day.

As well as car tyres, Walkers do a range of services from puncture repairs to wheel balancing, from laser wheel alignment (tracking), to an alloy bead refurbishment service, for those leaky alloy wheel problems. They also stock and fit a range of batteries which all carry a 3 year guarantee.
